Thank you for shopping with This Residence. As a small independent business, we take great care in creating and packaging our handmade ceramics, cards, posters, and artwork. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please read our policy below.

Returns

If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused and in its original condition.
The item must be returned in its original packaging where possible.
You must contact us before returning your item.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty:

Custom or personalised items
Commissioned artwork
Digital products or downloads (if applicable)

Damaged or Faulty Items

We carefully inspect all products before dispatch. However, if your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Please include:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Photographs of the damaged or faulty item and packaging where possible

We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, repair, or full refund.

Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or the item is faulty.

Lost Parcels

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will work with the shipping provider to investigate.
